The International Foundation of Integrated Care (IFIC) in partnership with the Children’s Health Queensland (CHQ) and Queensland Health’s Clinical Excellence Division, presents the 1st Asia Pacific Conference on Integrated Care “Inspiring new ideas and stronger partnerships for improving population health” to take place in Brisbane, Australia from 6-8 November 2017.

The conference will bring together researchers, clinicians and managers from the Asia Pacific region and around the world who are engaged in the design and delivery of integrated health and care services. They will share experience and the latest evidence generated around the following key conference themes: New Models of Care Delivery; Child and Youth Health; Rural and Remote Health; Mental Health; and Engaging and Empowering Communities. The conference is expected to attract over 500 delegates from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, China, Japan and other countries, who will actively participate as delegates and presenters to understand better the latest innovations, best practice, evaluations and implementations in the advancement of integrated care and improvements in the design and delivery of health and care services to people and communities in the region and beyond.

The scientific committee for this conference has been established from international experts who are leading in the field of integrated care policy and practice, and they are now accepting paper submissions on the science, knowledge and application of integrated care and specifically relating to the conference themes until Monday, 31 July. The paper should take the form of an abstract of not more than 500 words. Abstract Submission Guidelines are available to download from the conference website.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the International Journal of Integrated Care (Impact Factor 2.230) Accepted abstracts will appear in the programme as a formal oral presentation, workshop or poster, as deemed appropriate by the scientific committee. All accepted abstracts will compete for the Annual IFIC Integrated Care Awards. IFIC’s latest conference in Dublin received over 700 submissions so we advise that you take due consideration when submitting your paper to ensure you have the very best chance of success.
