Global Forum on Incontinence
The 6th Global Forum on Incontinence (GFI) 'Sustainable health and social care: the role of Continence Care in enbaling Independent and Dignified living' took place in Berlin on 19-20 April. Over 350 participants from more than 30 countries, including policy makers, payers, experts, patients, caregivers and health and social care professionals, came together to discuss how to improve care for people with incontience at home and in the community.
The 5th Global Forum on Incontinence (GFI) will take place in Madrid, 8-9 April 2014.
GFI is a platform for education and debate about the impact of incontinence on individuals, caregivers and society. The objective is to suggest principles for a better organization of continence care.
Policy makers, health and social care providers, NGOs and medical experts will gather to listen to presentations in the area of continence care, exchange views and explore what opportunities there are to achieve sustainable quality continence care.
The conference will foster consensus around the way forward for better continence care that can be implemented in different local health and social care environments.
