Registrations are now open for the second European Summit on Innovation for Active and Healthy Ageing, to be held in Brussels, The Square, on the 6th and 7th December 2016. The Summit is organised by the European Commission in cooperation with the European Parliament and the European Committee of the Regions.
This year's Summit will be dedicated to co-creating a shared-vision on how digital innovation will transform health and care services in Europe, and how - working together - we can ensure that people, public services and the economy will benefit from this process of transformation.
The Summit will include over 1000 participants, including industry leaders, innovators, government leaders (from national and regional governments), policymakers, health and care organisations, investors and civil society organisations. This year it will also include an international audience (guests from the Government of Japan, Canada and USA) building on the 2016 G7 agenda on active and healthy ageing innovation, representatives from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
The event is free of charge, but registration is accepted on a first-come / first-served basis. If you are interested in participating, please register early. You can find more information about the Summit on digital innovation for active and healthy ageing and registration please click here.
