Family care yesterday, today and tomorrow – 30 Years Anniversary of Carers Finland

To celebrate its 30 years anniversary, Carers Finland produced a video about the aspects of family care.

Four family carers tell their personal stories in the video. Furthermore Tarja Halonen, former President, one of the founders of Carers Finland, Anu Vehviläinen, Speaker of the Finnish Parliament, Teppo Kröger, Professor, Sari Raassina, Chair of Carers Finland and Aulikki Kananoja, Social Councellor enlighten family care challanges.

Even if the video presents a Finnish perspective, there are lots of issues that are shared in all European social policy regimes. There are subtitles in English and Swedish that can be selected from the Youtube settings.
