International Young Carers Action Day 2022

Miriam Svenson and Elizabeth Hanson, our colleagues from Swedish NKA, took part in a symposium hosted by an Japanese NGO Tokyo Soteria whose aim is to support young carers of people with mental illness.

Among other, they presented the Me-WE project. Layea Bennett also took part in this symposium and talked about the activities of our UK member Carers Trust.

It’s the first time the Young Carers Action day has been marked internationally!
