Mobile Game for Cognitive Skills Development

Alzheimer Hellas participates in the Game4CoSkills project which aims to develop a new and innovative mobile game for adults with cognitive dysfunctions and cognitive impairment such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Mild Cognitive Impairment and mild or moderate Intellectual Disabilities. In collaboration with health professionals, who have completed a questionnaire about their demographic characteristics and patients cognitive level, teaching scenarios are designed. Teaching scenarios are based on the specific cognitive functions the game aims to enhance such as visual recognition of colors, calculation, logic, attention to details, dexterity, multitasking, memory and accuracy.
