The Swedish Family Care Competence Centre celebrated the first European Carers Day
On the 6th of October, Nationellt kompetenscentrum anhöriga (The Swedish Family Care Competence Centre), organized a webinar in order to celebrate the European Carers Day and to raise awareness of carers around Europe.
The webinar began with a speech by Lena Hallengren, Minister for Health and Social Affairs, and was followed by several presentations and discussions. For example, Ulla Lantz shared her experiences of being a carer and Elizabeth Hanson, Scientific Leader of Nka and professor at Linnaeus University, gave examples of good carer support from different EU countries.
