An organisation for informal carers in Austria

The interest group ‘Informal Carers Austria‘ provides caring relatives, friends and dedicated persons an internet platform addressing their needs. This group officially represents almost a million caring relatives in Austria. It provides support for the largest private long-term care organisations  composed of representatives of all generations, who mainly support older persons.

The organisation Informal Carers Austria is also represented on the European level. The collaboration with the NGO Committee on Ageing in the UN in Vienna provides an opportunity to raise awareness for the intensive work of caring relatives internationally.
