Care Alliance Ireland Position Paper on Vaccine Prioritisation for Family Carers

As is the case in a number of countries currently rolling out Covd-19 vaccinations, family carers are not currently included on the Vaccine Prioritisation Programme in Ireland. Care Alliance Ireland recently published our Position Paper on Vaccine Prioritisation for Ireland’s Family Carers.

Whilst we are cognisant of the difficulties in creating a priority list of those to receive any vaccination against Covid19, this position paper outlines both ethical and practical reasons for family carer inclusion as a specific group in vaccination roll-out plans.
