Health & Care Conference in Slovakia

Our Slovakian member Chamber of caregivers of Slovakia attended the ITAPA HEALTH & CARE Conference, held on 26.-27.3.2024 in Bešeňová, Slovakia. For 22 years, ITAPA events have been the most important platform in Slovakia for the official meeting of state and public representatives with representatives of the private sector in the field of innovation, modernization and digitalization of society. Dozens of renowned speakers from Slovakia and the world, hundreds of guests and important media will take part in the ITAPA Congress at its events every year. Stecy Yghemonos, Eurocarers Director, presented online the future of informal care from the EU perspective. Dana Grafikova, the president of Chamber of caregivers Slovakia spoke in panel discussion about the professional home-based care. Iveta Ždiľova, the vice-president, in panel discussion presented the real picture of informal caregiving in Slovakia, what is the status of informal caregivers, what is their value and what threat to care we might face, and also what changes we need to make…
