After one year of user-driven design development, the project has now transitioned to building technically functional prototypes. This will entail how the use of technology such as pressure sensors can be successfully embedded whilst not compromising on the design and maintaining the user-perspective throughout.
A key aspect of the project has been to involve the potential beneficiaries i.e. older adults in the design development process. To learn more about the Maturolife co-creation process, read the interview with Gulay Ozkan, GEDS, the lead design partner in Maturolife here.
