Let’s mobilise citizens to vote at European elections 2019!

In two weeks’ time millions of EU citizens will be heading to the ballot boxes. We all know what an important election it is this year.  Europe is at a serious crossroad and it’s hard to predict in which direction it will turn in the next few years and beyond.

European elections are notorious for having an extremely low turnout across the EU. We will not reverse the trend in the next two weeks, but what we can do is encourage and mobilise more citizens to go out and have their say by voting.

The Social Platform has produced this short campaign video to remind people that every vote counts has and carries influence, particularly if we want to see people’s dignity and well-being at the top of the EU’s priority list. Feel free to share it among your community.
