Successful CARE4DEM event in Italy
The 1st Italian multiplier event of Care4Dem was held on the 21st May by Anziane e Non Solo in the framework of the Carers Day 2019 in front of a large group of professionals and informal carers.
The presentation of the project and its results was preceded by an introductory event of Patrizia Taccani, psychologist and expert of mutual-aid groups, who spoke about the value of MAGs not only for individual participating but for the community as a whole.
Licia Boccaletti, project coordinator, presented the results achieved so far by the partnership and invited participants to engage in the piloting phase starting in September.
The feedback received on the project and the proposed model of MAGs was very positive and many people expressed their interest in participating to the training and/or to the online groups.
