Start of a new movement of Young Carers in Flanders

In Flanders, young carers gathered on February 4 to start a movement for Young Carers: ZoJong! Vzw (‘So Young!’).

Their goal? Offer a digital platform for Young Carers where they can share their story, find more information,… (www.zojong.be). Also they will organize some low key activities for Young Carers. In addition, they will raise awareness on the topic of Young Carers. So they will develop a training for teachers and other school employees, and a game for young children at school.

The members of this movement are Young Carers themselves, and they are supported by Samana, a Flemish acknowledged Care Organization.
