7th Transforming Care Conference, 25–27 June 2025: Call for Papers for Thematic Panel on Young Carers
The 7th Transforming Care Conference will take place from 25–27 June 2025 at the University of Helsinki, Finland, under the theme “Social and Human Rights in Care.”
The conference organizers invite papers for one of the thematic panels, which focuses on children’s roles as unpaid carers and young carers, examining the social consequences from both human and social rights perspectives. Topics may include:
- The rights of children and adolescents engaged in unpaid care work.
- Gender and intersectional perspectives on children’s and young people’s roles in unpaid care.
- The experiences of both adults and children receiving care from young carers.
- Other related topics.
