Caring responsibilities – focus under open research call “Equality and Wellbeing across Generations”

A new approach to collaboration in Research & Development across Europe is the Joint Programming Initiative (JPI) which is a Member State-driven activity. 15 European countries plus Canada and Israel are currently participating in the JPI More Years Better Lives, see the full country list here.

Under this JPI, a new Joint Call in 2020 “Equality and Wellbeing across Generations” is now open. The 11 countries participating in this Joint call are Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Latvia, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom

The aim of the call is to support policy in the face of demographic change by reducing inequalities in 3 areas:

  1. Income and wealth
  2. Caring responsibilities
  3. Social and Political Participation

The deadline for proposal submission is 14 September 2020 at 17:00 hrs CEST

For more information and details about the EWG call, see here.
