Doctoral thesis “Older adults’ contribution to informal caregiving: profiles, adverse health consequences, and support interventions”

The Eurocarers network is invited to the defense of Mariam Kirvalidze‘s doctoral thesis titled “Older adults’ contribution to informal caregiving: profiles, adverse health consequences, and support interventions”.

The online event is taking place on 23 April 2026 at 1pm CET.

Kirvalidze’s doctoral work is based at Karolinska Institutet, Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society, Aging Research Center, under the supervision of Professor Amaia Calderón-Larrañaga. Professor Elizabeth Hanson from Linnaeus University is one of the co-supervisors.
