Eldicare 2.0 has launched the first iteration of its annual survey to assess skill mismatches, upskilling and reskilling needs in elderly care
As the care sector evolves in response to demographic, social and health system changes, it is crucial to better understand the experiences of those who provide care. Eldicare 2.0 is seeking input that will help design an innovative and practical training model, aligned with the real demands of the sector, and focused on upskilling and reskilling the care workforce. Ultimately, this will contribute to improving the quality of care for older adults and vulnerable populations throughout Europe.
The survey was launched on the newly published Elderly Cre Skills Observatory, created by Eldicare 2.0. It aims to gather insights from the experience of care professionals and informal carers, and completion takes approximately 10 minutes. It is available in English, Greek, Italian, Spanish, Czech, French and Bulgarian.
