Francophone Congress on Caregiver Support – Less that one month to go !

The 4th Francophone Congress on Caregiver Support will take place on October 27th and 2!th 2026 in Paris !

Building on the success of the three previous editions – which attrated over 500 participants and achieved an average satisfaction rate of 96% – and coinciding with the rollout of the second phase of the 2023-2027 French national strategy to mobilize and support family caregivers, the France Répit Foundation and l’Association française des Aidants, invite you to join us.

Families, caregivers, healthcare professionals, non profit organizations, local authorities, government agencies and facility service managers, we are looking forward to meeting you there.

This congress offers a unique opportunity to meet a wide range of French, European and Francophone actors dedicated to respite care and caregiver support.

It will provide a comparative overview of care systems and policy contexts affecting family caregivers.

On tuesday October the 27th at 2:30 pm, join the workshop titled : Contextualizing informal care in Europe in light of national long-term care policies. 

This workshop aims to introduce Eurocarers and will offer a comparative overview of the various legal and policy contexts affecting family caregivers in Europe.

It will draw on the welfare state models of four countries represented at the session (live translation provided): Germany, Spain, Norway, and the United Kingdom, featuring wirPflegen e.V., Acufade, Parorendealliansen, and Carers UK.
