Greek workshop on“ Supporting people with heart disease and their carers”

Greek Carers Network EPIONI advocates on behalf of informal carers of people with illness or disability and promotes the recognition of their role in the Greek health system. EPIONI is a member of Eurocarers and other European networks with the aim of exchanging good practices to support informal carers who are often families.

In the context of outreach activities involving health professionals, prominent physicians, psychologists, social workers, and legal professionals, we seek answers to a wide range of medical, educational and legal issues of public interest and in particular of interest to family carers of people with chronic illness or disability.

On Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 10:30 am, EPIONI in cooperation with the organizations “Heart of the Child”, “Scitali” and the Enosi Kardiopathon Axiomatikon Polemikou Naftikou” organizes the 3rd workshop on“ Supporting people with heart disease and their carers ”at the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Athens at 50 Akademias Street.

The event will be welcomed by the presidents of associations that support patients with heart disease of all ages in which they will share personal testimonies as well as by health professionals.
