The European voice for informal carers

‘Made in Social Europe’ exhibition

The Social Platform just launched this year’s ‘Made in Social Europe’ exhibition – a collection of 19 inspiring practices from civil society organisations who are a part of our European member networks.

We are all aware of the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and many of our organisations and projects have been affected. However, despite these challenges there continues to be incredible success stories and inspiring practices across the EU. Among other featured projects are the Me-We and the Together projects, both focusing on young carers.

After a rollercoaster ten months, this year’s exhibition comes at the perfect time – offering us a chance to feel uplifted and inspired by the social projects that are continuing to give life to the principles of the Social Pillar. Whether it is alleviating loneliness amongst elderly communities in Greece or providing support to young caregivers in Italy, the Made in Social Europe exhibition continues to act as an important reminder of the truly life changing work of many of our projects and practices.

Their aim is to bring the EU closer to its citizens in the coming months and to contribute towards a debate on the future of Europe at local, regional and national level. Therefore, they encourage you to explore their exhibition and share it across your own channels.

You can start exploring the Made in Social Europe exhibition on the Social Platform website
