New Call “Healthy Ageing with the support of Digital Solutions” under the AAL Programme

  • News

Deadline: 22/05/2020 at 17:00 hrs CET

The AAL Call 2020 is open to developing ICT-based solutions targeting any application area(s) within the Active and Assisted Living domain. The aim of the Call is to support innovative, transnational and multi-disciplinary collaborative projects.

The Call includes more flexibility regarding the scope, size and duration of the proposed projects. Two types of projects can be funded: regular or smaller collaborative projects. The solutions need to be embedded in the strategies of the participating end-user organisations, service providers and business partners.

End-users are emphasised and considered to be the drivers in the development and practical application of these advancements, playing a crucial role in the co-creation, testing, evaluation and deployment of AAL solutions. Thus, proposals in AAL Call 2020 stresses the strong involvement of end users including secondary and tertiary end-users.

The AAL programme defines secondary end users as: Persons or organisations directly in contact with primary end-users, such as formal and informal caregivers, family members, friends, neighbours, care organisations and their representatives.
