Open Consultation on the new Action Plan on the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights
The EPSR Action Plan public consultation has just been published.
The European Pillar of Social Rights (‘Pillar’) is the EU’s blueprint for a fairer and more inclusive Social Europe that protects its citizens while contributing to better living and working conditions. Its first Action Plan has contributed to turning the principles of the Pillar into concrete actions. and has firmly anchored employment and social issues at the heart of the EU political agenda, building on the strong commitment by EU leaders at the Porto Social Summit in May 2021 to bring the Pillar to life, and to reach the EU social 2030 targets on employment, skills and poverty reduction. It included the committed to an European Care Strategy.
This consultation seeks to gather views from stakeholders, including both individuals and organisations, on the implementation and impact of the first Pillar Action Plan, as well as on the desired objectives and content of the new Action Plan.
All EU and non-EU citizens and other stakeholders can contribute to this consultation. Questionnaires are available in some or all official EU languages. You can submit your responses in any official EU language. It will be open until 10 September.
