Piloting of the Care4Dem intervention in Portugal: all the facilitators have been trained.

On the 17th and 24th of September took place the Care4Dem “Facilitating Online Support Groups for Informal Carers of Dementia” pilot course which provided participants with general knowledge about support groups, as well as mobilized the skills needed to implement an online support group. With a total of 10 participants was also held a simulation of the group on the second day. This was the first course in Portugal, organised by Aproximar. A second course took place in Porto, organised by CASO50+. All facilitators are now certified by Aproximar as the certified training provider.
