VOCAL celebrates its 25th anniversary
On Sunday 7 July 2019 a small team of die-hards will abseil from the Forth Rail Bridge to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our Edinburgh based member VOCAL.
25 years ago they started with a list of some 50 carers, today VOCAL supports nearly 10,000 carers and families each year. With their anniversary they mark the contribution of hundreds of people who made VOCAL what they are today: carers and former carers, colleagues across all sectors, funders and supporters, staff and volunteers. Together they have and will continue to make a difference to many lives.
With his Abseil, Sebastian Fisher,VOCAL Chief Executive, hopes to contribute to VOCAL’s funds and set a marker for a further, equally successful 25 years. He thought his days of challenge events were over, but to celebrate his own 25th anniversary at VOCAL he has come out of ‘Abseil retirement’ to make one last mistake commitment. One more time – for carers, for VOCAL and for one of the best causes he could wish to work for!
Feel free to join and support him, if you can:
