Guide to Efficient and Effective Interventions for Implementing the Care Act

Carers UK have worked with the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS), a national body for professionals working in adult social care within local government, to produce a new best practice guide.

The Care Act 2014 was a landmark piece of legislation for unpaid carers in England giving them the right to an assessment of the support they need. The guide seeks to capture the direction of travel since this legislation was introduced and includes lots of best practice examples for implementing the legislation and supporting carers.

The documents which make up the guide can be downloaded from the ADASS website.
