Trends in Family Caring in Ireland in 2017: Review of Awareness, Self-Identification, Official Surveys and Income Supports

In this paper we explore the interrelationships between family carer identification, family carer prevalence statistics and supports for family carers.

We draw on recent quantitative data sources in an attempt to provide an objective analysis of family caring in Ireland in 2017.
