Join the European Week of Cities and Regions workshop on 6 October titled “Cities and regions building homes for life” where a proposition of certification for age-friendly housing and the Homes4Life project will be discussed.

Homes4Life takes a life-course approach to defining an age-friendly home – we envision homes as places:

• that evolve with us as our choices, needs and preferences change regardless of our age.
• that help us to be independent and in control of our lives;
• that support us to remain active and healthy;
• that keep us socially included and engaged allowing us access to all areas of community life;

If our homes are able to do just that then we consider them to be age-friendly.
