Invite to consultation webinar ‘Readying for End of Life in Place’, 16 September 2025, 11-12.30 CET
The EOLinPLACE Project Team, in collaboration with Eurocarers, is working to better understand the diversity of preferred and actual places of death. With this project, we aim to ensure accurate and standardized records of where people die, but also to identify potential mismatches with their preferences regarding where they wish to receive end-of-life care and ultimately die.
Carers’ voices matter in this conversation, this is why the EOLinPlace team are inviting Eurocarers members to co-create a pioneering International Classification of Dying Places (ICP), by participating in an online consultation.
This webinar is part of a wider international consultation to inform the development of the ICP.
The programme of the webinar consists of two parts:
Part 1 – Consultation. Participants will be asked for feedback on the appropriateness of definitions and concepts and from their different language and cultural groups standpoint.
Part 2 – Workshop with mini case studies. Participants will have a chance to apply the ICP in classifying dying places in real-life cases.
Registration is open until 14 September 2025 EOB.
