La Hulpe Declaration on the future of the European Pillar of Social Rights

We underline the importance of Europe’s unique social market economy, combining the pursuit of a highly productive, competitive and innovative economy, attractive for investments, and fostered by a dynamic single market, aiming at full employment and social progress, and a high level of protection. The importance of some of these key elements is also underlined in Article 3 TEU and in Article 151 TFEU.
