Mainstreaming Young Carers in EU Policy

This policy brief is a practical advocacy tool to help Eurocarers members promote the recognition and support of young carers in national policies and systems. It outlines who young carers are and why their recognition matters, identifies key EU policy entry points (including the strengthened European Child Guarantee and the new EU strategies on intergenerational fairness, gender equality and anti-poverty) and provides a policy audit checklist and recommendations for national and EU decision-makers.
