Svetlana is a lawyer by training, specialized in EU Law, with a keen interest in human rights and social rights topics.
She is familiar, theoretically and in practice, with the functioning of the EU institutions and the EU policy-making processes.
For the past five years, she has worked in two EU public policy consultancies, managing procurement and grant proposals as well as complex projects funded or commissioned by EU institutions and occasionally by private clients.
In her previous position as a legal and policy officer at the European Commission for six years, she gained significant experience in service contracts management, including drafting terms of reference, launching and managing calls for tenders, tender evaluations, steering and approval of project outcomes, etc.
