European Social Services Conference 2026: submissions now open
The European Social Services Conference (ESSC) is the largest forum for social welfare policy and practice in Europe.
Join ESN in Valletta, Malta between 17-20 May 2026 for the 34th edition of the Conference, where discussions will focus on how social services can cross borders and bridge boundaries to respond to shared challenges in an increasingly interconnected world.
Entitled, ‘Bridging Boundaries – International Insights into Social Services,’ the 2026 Conference will bring together leaders in social services from across the world and provide a platform for them to exchange global perspectives on how diverse systems innovate, collaborate, and learn from one another to strengthen social inclusion, resilience, and solidarity.
By highlighting experiences from across regions and sectors, the event will discuss how to overcome barriers, build bridges between communities and institutions, and co-create solutions that better serve people in need.
ESN is currently inviting submissions for presentations to contribute to the conference programme. The Eurocarers network is invited to apply to contribute to shape this enriching event.
