The Multiplier Event of COSMIC Erasmus+ KA2 Project – https://cosmicproject.eu/ –  dedicated to the Intercultural dimension of the care relationship, as the project is focused on carers of migrant origin. The organizers were C’entro and Anziani e non solo.

Besides the presentation of the project results and of the opportunity to benefit of free training on the e-platform – https://cosmicproject.eu/elearning/ – the organizers invited a well-known sociologist, Maurizio Ambrosini, to introduce the theme of the relationship between migrants and health and healthcare system. Another sociologist, Samuele Molli, presented the results of his research in Milan regarding the interaction of the migrants with the healthcare services and the main difficulties encountered.

Licia Boccaletti from ANS presented a reflection of the different cultural approaches people have to issues like care, health, cure, both inside a nation and among cultures belonging to other geographical areas, proposing a larger view, beyond stereotypes.

Loredana Ligabue from CARER Emilia-Romagna closed the seminar with a deep reflection on the efforts towards carers’ rights and the missing steps towards their full recognition and support.
