The innovative user-driven technology project, Maturolife, aims to increase the quality of life and independence of older adults by creating smart clothing, footwear and furniture with an assistive functionality.

After one year of user-driven design development, the project has now transitioned to building technically functional prototypes. This will entail how the use of technology such as pressure sensors can be successfully embedded whilst not compromising on the design and maintaining the user-perspective throughout.
